Thank you for your reply. I contacted my hosting provider Bluehost got two different people. I’ll shorten the replies… Both said I need a dedicated IP. Asked for a detailed instructions sent me to their main sales page. At a minimum it would cost an extra $20.00 a month. Am I missing something?

How do you reinstate the original files for the theme? Would you do this before you add a child theme? Thanks

I don’t have a child theme for twenty seventeen. Yes in the theme files it has theme footer listed,but if I click on it there is a blank page.I could see the file before, but after I tried to edit, it disappeared.

Well as a newbie I am lost. I am following a video and I set up Olsen light and than set up the child theme as the instructor said. On my dashboard I click child theme and click create a new child theme and than click parent theme and on #2 it already list Olsen Light. When I click on it, that’s where it says analyze that is where the problem is.I see on #9 it says configure, but I’m afraid if I mess with too much than I’ll make a bigger mess.

I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean by third party tool and states?

I deleted the page and wrote it as a post and it did the same thing (said it was published but nothing)
