I have changed settings for both ads and ad groups which seems to have fixed that issue.

Update.
I just bought the pro version of the plugin.
There I could tick “Display the ad only once per page” which resolved the showing of the ads multiple times.

I have applied those changes here as mentioned but it does not make the intire slider image clickable. It does only make the caption text clickable.

I figured it out.
It seems the send to email has to be there even though data is stored in the database.

The instructions here did not create any slides for my site.

All folders and files are set to 755.

Yes they should be.

I allready run Twenty twelve as theme. And I don’t have any other plugins yet.

Hi,
I am creating a new post and clicking on the green icon.
From the pop up I choose NextGEN Basic Thumbnails and go to Add Gallery / Images.
I create a new gallery and add/upload the desired images.
I go back to Display Galleries and choose the gallery I want and click save.
An image placeholder is inserted to the post instead of a thumbnail.
In the frontend the same placeholder is displayed which is not clickable.

The menu is behind your logo which seems too big on my iPhone.

I did allready try the path /wp/german/ and it didn’t work before. But now it does.
So it must have been the messed up .htaccess file. I don’t know how those extra lines did occur.
