When you’re using Wordfence, this ‘schema’ issue should be fixed (by updating Wordfence)!

There’s unfortunately still no final solution to this problem.

The only thing you can do is downgrade to version 5.5.6.1 and the problem magically disappears. The refill issue can easily be fixed with the above mentioned solution.

@swissspaceboy I totally agree. Should be fixed ASAP! I’ve got the exact same problem.

Will @takayukister do something about slow loading times because of the added /schema and /refill ?

This problem still isn’t resolved accordingly. Lots of websites have this particular issue.

Unfortunately nothing will be done in order to fix the above mentioned issues. The author obviously doesn’t care or listens at all. This thread was also heavily moderated.
I enjoyed the plugin for many years but it has become very buggy, can’t afford to lose loading speed.

When you downgrade to 5.5.6.1 the problems magically disappear.

Refill issue can be fixed with removing code below (from /includes/controller.php):

I’m considering moving all of the forms to WP Forms (100+ websites). This particular issue is affecting loading time.

Why moderate this thread while multiple users have this particular issue?

A discussion, where people share their fair share of common bugs, is always great!

Trying to fix this issue should be the priority for the author and team.

4 and 6.8 extra seconds of loading time sounds like a nasty bug to me.

Who’s got the solution in order to fix this? Maybe the author of the plugin?

I also reverted back to the previous version on some of my websites but sometimes the problem still exists. Google/bing remains indexing /schema. It’s a strange bug.

A couple of hours after upgrading to WP5.9, akismet marks all messages sent via CF7 as spam. After around 6 hours, after upgrading to WP5.9, Akismet performs like it used to.

There are no errors (not in the logs or anything else except for CF7). CF7/Akismet throws an English error even when language is set to Dutch.

That’s the crazy thing; an error isn’t shown (also not in the error logs). CF7 just shows ‘error’ when trying to send the form.

For some reason Akismet just blocks the message.
I can send you the Enfold theme if you want.

PS; i believe the new code (theme and wordpress) needed to settle in order for things to work properly. I also believe that my test e-mails (actually my name and emailaddress) were marked as spam.

Found the solution (for now):
Resave permalinks in settings, TWICE!
Disable Akismet and re-enable it. That should do the trick.

UPDATE: I disabled Akismet, it works fine now.
