I have this same problem. I enter the feed into the settings, click “Save” and then it asks “Are you sure you want to do this?” without any buttons available for saying Yes or No. How do you fix this?

Commenting out that line does not seem to work for me. How do I exclude a tree of pages from navigation when exclude_tree doesn’t work?

One thing that I still seem to be missing is the yellow fading flash when I enter a new post. Now it just inserts the post, and everything drops down, but without the P2 yellow flash. Comments still seem to show the yellow flash when they update the page, but newly created posts don’t.

What do you mean, posting without ajax?

Any news on a plugin that allows crossposting from P2 to Twitter and Facebook?

I tried what you did, and replaced the lines in ajax.php and commented out line 7 in functions.php, and P2 1.1.3 is now working on my WP 2.9.1 blog.

One change I had to make was I edited out the following line. Including it made the page look like it was going to refresh, but the update did not appear:

'html' => '',

What was that additional line supposed to do?

So, it looks like they’ve included the same JSON class twice in different versions, and that’s causing the conflict. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next version of P2.

I’m on WP 2.9.1, and P2 1.1.3, and the real-time updating of posts/comments doesn’t work in FF 3.6 RC1, IE8, or Chrome 3. I’m really trying to nail down what the issue might be, but so far it comes back to WordPress. Older versions of WP seem to work fine with the latest P2, but 2.9.x doesn’t.

I think it was a FeedBurner problem. Did a “resync” and it regenerated the feed.

I tried P2 out on a couple of the blogs on my server, and I had “out of memory” errors which killed the SQL database process and took all my blogs down. What are the recommended server specs to use the P2 theme?

The glitching was Firefox. I tried the 3.6 beta 5 and it works fine. But still no real-time updating when I post an update or a comment.

Also, I’m getting some funny visual glitches in the posts below the post box as I type and especially when I backspace. It’s like the second post down shifts upwards momentarily, and then goes back into place. Not sure what’s causing that. This happens both on the 2.9.1 install and the 2.8.4. Could be one of my Firefox plugins…

I tested P2 on a WP 2.8.4 install on the exact same server, and the real-time updating works fine, so I agree that there is some incompatibility between P2 and WP 2.9.x.
