In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly.I agree this is a good place to sort out the problem –
There WAS one specific inactive widget which was the problem but can’t remember.
Go to “appearances” / “widgets”, scroll down to ‘Inactive widgets’ and delete the widgets one by one, until the problem is sorted. It worked for me.

In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly. My problem was sorted by deleting all the “inactive widgets” at the bottom of the widget area.

In reply to: [Approval Workflow] Submit for Review only works on new pages the first timeI’m facing the same issue. I would like a “revisor” to either add new content OR edit existing content and go through the same approval process from “administrators”.
The plugin blurb seems to imply this is possible, but so far, all that happens is that a “revisor” can add new content and submit it to workflow, but after approval they can only view the content and make no edits.
Please advise… I would love to use this plugin.
Thanks.

In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly. This might help clarify just what’s missing…
https://www.cookeatblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/ceb_problem.jpgI have just updated both the the theme and the version of WordPress to be the current and still no sidebar widget options… I am concluding that the problem is probably with WordPress and not the theme. I have been using the theme Deadline for 2-3 years now without any problems.
If anyone can give me a possible cause and fix this would be much appreciated. Without a fix, my sidebars are pretty much useless.
Thanks ??

In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly.Yes. As I mentioned earlier – the only option I get with screen options is to ‘enable accessibility’ mode. This allows me to add widgets to the sidebar but not in the normal way of dragging – it doesn’t allow me the ability to edit their options or delete them either.

In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly.Yes. Have tried both different browser and machine. Always the same.
Any other ideas?

In reply to: The Dashboard Widget area not working correctly. There’s nothing wrong with the homepage so a URL isn’t much help. The problem is in the Dashboard. URL for site anyway: https://www.cookeatblog.com
The image I gave a link to shows that there are no options for dragging widgets to on the right side.
