I had a look at the link and see the recipe without issues.

The recipe shows up twice in Structuted Data Testing Tool because one format is JSON-ld and the other is the legacy format required for Pinterest. Google is smart enough to know that they’re the same recipe and doesn’t treat it as spam.

1. So some themes have an Edit CSS menu under Appearance and if that’s the case, you should add the CSS there.

2. The real proper way so you won’t be affected by theme updates is to create a child theme but that get’s a bit involved: https://optimizerwp.com/wordpress-child-theme/

Zip Recipes supports Google AMP and I know Facebook Instant Articles are compatible with Google AMP now. Maybe have a look at that angle.
