It’s a bummer. I think twentyten looked much nicer on my iPhone than twentyeleven does. The navigation bar takes up nearly the entire screen (and acts more like a navigation block). The search bar covers my header image nearly completely, and it loads “zoomed out” on the iPhone, so the writing isn’t utilizing the full screen, and an empty pho-sidebar is exposed on the right side of the screen:

I’m trying to figure out how to do this… sort of…

I’m trying to make a static page the home page. I want to use Thematic as my “resume site” for a lack of a better word. I’m a content writer, and I like that Thematic is so plain looking.

I haven’t been able to figure out how to make a static page the home page yet, but it’s promising to hear that it can be done. I’ll take another look.

Example of what I mean… I change the “About” page into my “Resume” page. I want my resume to be the home page when you go to https://www.my-name.com. I like how the tab looks.

Hopefully I’ll get this going… without having to dig into the php. Yikes. That won’t go very well.
