In reply to: Amazon widgets-ShortCodes Products Preview Doesn’t WorkFor example, in this post here: https://www.blu-raydefinition.com/reviews/permissive-blu-ray-review.html I have the image at the top linked to the Amazon product with this URL: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002XOL65E?ie=UTF8&tag=bluraydefinit-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B002XOL65E and there is no product preview. Also, if you look at the sidebars for the Amazon products on my site, none of them show the product preview. I don’t know if maybe something in my theme prevents this plugin from showing the product previews?

In reply to: Amazon widgets-ShortCodes Products Preview Doesn’t WorkOh, sorry. I think I replied to the wrong thing. I thought this was the one I posted about the Amazon.de codes not working. Either way, none of my Amazon links show product previews in my site’s theme when I link to an Amazon product.

In reply to: Amazon widgets-ShortCodes Products Preview Doesn’t WorkSure, here is what I was using for an amazon.de product: [amazon-product align=”center” region=”de” tracking_id=”bluraydefin0e-21″]B001TCOQDA[/amazon-product]
It points to a generic Amazon.ca product widget for some reason.

In reply to: Incompatibility in Amazon Widgets Shortcode w/ 2.8.2Okay, marked as resolved, and, yes, I also navigate by eye. Sometimes I use Babelfish to help translate as well. ??

In reply to: Incompatibility in Amazon Widgets Shortcode w/ 2.8.2I overwrote the plugin with the development version and it works now with the Amazon.co.jp ASIN. If I come across any issues with any of the other Amazon sites, I’ll be sure to keep you updated. Thanks again!

In reply to: Incompatibility in Amazon Widgets Shortcode w/ 2.8.2Thanks and sorry for the delay in responding. I’ve been overwhelmed with work lately — up to my eyeballs. I’ll give that a try! ??

In reply to: Bullet points not showing up in postsI have a similar problem with my bullet lists, they will show up properly in WYSIWYG, but when I post them, any indentations do not show up at all. I have no idea how to fix this, and I can’t seem to find anything about this in the documentation. I’m running 2.7.1

In reply to: wp_list_pages Sidebar tag won’t work correctlyYes, I fixed the problem. Sorry for taking so long to reply, but when I tried to reply initially a while back, I was getting a message that the topic was closed. I thought that maybe I’d unknowingly violated some rule or something.
I didn’t actually get the tag to work, but instead decided to nix using the sidebar tag and just use straight HTML code in a list, and it obtains the same effect I was looking for on every page.

In reply to: Weird Formatting Issue That I Can’t FixYep, you were correct. There was this code in there: ‘title=\”sincitycanadianblu-raybddefinition1080c\”
href=\”https://www.blu-raydefinition.com/wordpress/wp-
content/uploads/2009/03/sincitycanadianblu-
raybddefinition1080c.jpg\” target=\”_blank\”>That was causing the issue. The problem is, I have no idea how it got there. As for codex, I wouldn’t even begin to know where to look, I’m usually pretty hands on, but when it’s in the middle of the night, my brain is fried from doing a clean install of Vista all day long and hours of High-def screen captures and other work to move on to, I’d much rather have someone else take care of it — that’s what they are charging me for. It’s not like I’m not already pretty much running the entire site on my own. When I run into an issue that absolutely stumps me, I call on them to do the job they are getting paid to do. ??
But, anywhoo, I’m still new to WordPress, so, I’ve been going through the codices and checking out the discussion fora and familiarising myself — it’s an ongoing process.

In reply to: How to add a Rss feed to my blogActually, I have just realised that with the RSS widget activated and the URL set to my feed, it does in fact automatically generate RSS feeds, for RSS 2.0, .92 and Atom 0.3, without my having to manually edit the XML files every time I add a new post — that’s what I was getting at in my initial post in this thread. The problem is, the RSS 2.0 feed doesn’t seem to be working. When I try to select it in my browser, I am sent to my file directory. For the RSS .92 and Atom formats, everything loads flawlessly. I wonder what the issue could be?

In reply to: How to add a Rss feed to my blogThanks for the reply. I just installed the Google XML site map plugin. I’ve tried fooling around with some RSS feeds, even set myself up on feedburner, but I don’t see the RSS icon showing up in my WordPress installation even though I have the Widget installed. I have 2.7.1 running and it is pointing to the correct URL for my RSS feed as well.

In reply to: How to add a Rss feed to my blogDoes this automatically generate the XML code, or is that something you still have to do yourself?
