not sure if this is what you need

As a user, I try all different types of settings to try to get the best speed results without really knowing what those settings do. Im sure I’m not the only person to do this.
I have really good results on google page speed tests with 100 on mobile and 100 on desktop.
Does this mean those scores are not true scores ?
i would like to know this answer because the settings for me to get those top speeds are those that say cheating was involved.
I guess I’m a noob when it comes to website code and even when it says Defer all JS
I would expect the plugin I’m using to be a real speed increase because I believe that that setting is the best setting to use for better speeds.
This is all really confusing and I would expect when a plugin has that option then it must be a genuine way to speed your site up.
If I use any other option in the settings other than Defer all JS then my speeds on tests fall to around the same as other plugins similar to this 1.
so my questing is why have that setting there in the first place if it really doesn’t work how it should ?done all the basic tests and it is caused by your newest versions of the plugin
The old version simply works how it should do without any issues whatsoever
even 3.2.3 has some bugs and I think this is when issues with this plugin startedgoing back to version 3.2.1 fixes every issue
all that said been using this plugin for a long time and has always been great I’m hoping for future bug-free versions
keep up the great work- This reply was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by hifi2007.
thanks for the reply, sorry i didnt see it in time
I went back some versions and the problem is gone
I’m going to keep this version for now because I did notice issues related to google speed on newer versions
I went back to version 3.2.1 and all issues are gone
the newer versions for some reason enabling CSS makes my pages jump around and fonts would change to a different style also affects page speed massively on newer versions.
Also on the past 3 releases when setting the time for preloading the cache it would never preload unless I did it manually
anyways for now my problems are now gone completely the version I have in now works very well with good speed test from google and a pass score on the desktop@ energytoday
i used to get them kind of google speed test scores too but not on any new version within the past few monthsI’m using an old version now and every issue people are having has gone in older versions
right now I have a google page speed of 99 for desktop and 91 for mobile
version that works well for me is Version 3.2.1 and I’m staying with it now until things inprove
