Sorry to but in here but even after entering the Custom Tracker, I am unable to use Optimize on my site. I can see the container ID inserted in my page source. I am using gtag.js in your plugin settings, and not the legacy code. I currently block Admin tracking. I get these two errors:
1. Optimize plugin not found
The web page page doesn’t have Optimize plugin for the container ID (GTM-KS7BJF7) installed. You can still use the visual editor to create variants but you can’t use Preview mode to test them and visitors won’t see your experiment. To run an experiment you must first install Optimize .2. Unsupported Analytics tracking code
The page is tracked with the legacy Google Analytics (ga.js) tracking code which isn’t supported by Optimize. Update your Google Analytics tracking code to either analytics.js or gtag.js to use Optimize.Have created a new topic for this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/google-optimize-not-working-errors/

nope, i deactivated everything and still doesn’t work, I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict. Could you help troubleshoot on email with a login?

In reply to: [Joinchat] widget colors dont look goodHi, thanks for that info! I am using the latest version fof your plugin, and it’s still the same. Should I still override with the css you gave me?
Hi, I contacted my theme developer and they said they havent made any such changes to hooks even in the latest update. The only changes I did last month was to double check that my preferred version of website URL (https://www) was set correctly and others were being redirected to the www version.
There’s no improvement but a different warning now. I have never had such issues with my theme and your plugin regarding the tracking code implementation till now. Now, I see this in my Google Analytics notifications: https://prnt.sc/j69rl8 and traffic also has dropped from the last week.
Could it be due to some settings in your plugin? Could you please login to my backend and check if the GADWP plugin settings are correct?

Okay thanks, let me contact my theme developer and refresh your plugin’s GA authorization to see if it works.
Hi,
Firstly, I don’t quite understand, I use your plugin to specify the tracking code to be inserted in the header and dont insert it myself in the ‘Header and Footer’ plugin that I use for other scripts. Has anything changed in the most recent version of your plugin? Since I update plugins almost immediately. I also tweaked sme settings since the last update, would it be possible for you to login to my backend and check the wordpress settings please? I can share by email.
Secondly, since I have now updated my View settings in GA, do I need to re-authorize the plugin to connect to my GA account?
Thanks for your reply Alin. Yes I checked my Property and View settings again, and found that my view settings didnt have the www for website URL. Thanks for the tip.
Furthermore, the tracking code is not present only on your home page, that’s probably because your theme doesn’t have the do_action(‘wp_head’); action on the home page.
But since I installed your plugin, I havent had such issues in my reports and missing tracking code, how do you suggest I go about fixing this?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Sticky Menu & Sticky Header] Form not submitting correctly with the pluginThanks Mark! It does work now, but I had selected Legacy mode On to fix some previous issue don’t know what. Can you tell me why you usually recommend turning legacy mode on?
Hopefully some other issue does not crop up again, but this current form sending atleast is fixed ??

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Noindex custom URLs not working with Yoast SettingOkay maybe because I resubmitted my sitemap to Google Search Console.
But I still see these sub pages as duplicates in crawling software like BeamUsUp or Screaming Frog Spider. Any idea on how to fix that?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Latest update Broke my siteYes that’s exactly what I did.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Latest update Broke my siteI double checked – they are listed only once. This is strange, perhaps a plugin is doing this?
Please let me know how to proceed.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Latest update Broke my siteOk thanks Richard I did that.
1. Before reactivating the Jetpack plugin to see the error, I already got these errors on the front and back end of my site: https://prnt.sc/h8jr9i
2. This time my backend didn’t crash with 500 error but I got the same error as above: https://prnt.sc/h8jryi, I am unable to paste the contents of my log file here as my browser crashes.
@jeremy: Please tell me what to do.
Are you sure others dont have such crashes after the recent jetpack update?
