WP 2.0.4
only one installation of WP.

I have re-installed those files, re-downloaded the zipfile, re-installed the files again and I still get the same error?
The file sizes are the same.
In my case, I updated from version 1.5.4 to 2.0.4.
I also can’t edit the existing posts, the editing box is empty.
Any other suggestions?

UPDATE: I had files in other areas that shouldn’t have been there. My Bad.

99% of the material is from Daimler Chrysler media and approved for posting, I’ll have to make that 100%.
The idea of the site is to bring as much related material to one site.
The right sidebar loads alittle slow for me,had no idea about the dialup issue, Thanks for the heads up, and the suggestion, Been testing other themes, but I believe the plug-ins are the cause for the slow loading.
I’m currently working on installing WPHPBB, running into problems, so I’m not sure if thats going to fly or not.
The site colors are supposed to match Chrysler MOPAR logo color, and I feel blue is easy on the eyes, but thats one opinion.

Same problem here, the fix for the WP config.php, doesn’t seem to apply for this problem.
If someone has any idea please post it. meantime I’ll keep searching.

I am green when it comes to code, my site is a few months old and I’m looking to for some constructive, informative, and helpful feedback, on the site overall.
Issues I know I have and can’t seem to fix…
1) When viewed using FireFox the header won’t center. I can’t seem to correct this.
2)I would like to have the ” Pages (13) : [1]2 3 ?? … Last ?? ” thats at the bottom of the last post,on the MAIN page, show with a gray background, like the post themselves are.

Other than that, I average about 250 hits with 400 page views a day. If this beginner needs to make any changes, please let me know and if you would be so kind as to suggest how to make them if its a code thing.

I fixed my above problem!
I replaced the Blog address (URI): field “dot” with “/blog” since my url = https://www.wagnertech.net/blog/
Sounds so simple after one figures it out

Same problem here as his original problem.
“when both URI fields are filled out the same, I get double URLs in my links, example “https://www.wagnertech.net/blog/wagnertech.net/blog/”
Now if I replace the Blog address (URI): field with a “.” “since it won’t let me leave it blank, the double URL problem goes away.
However, this is not a true fix, and I believe my “(View site ??)” link, in the admin control panel, that is now taking me back to the admin panel, rather than the Blogs home page. Is a result of my dot in the “Blog address (URI): field” hack.

Does this make what he is trying to resolve a bit more understandable?
and by the way, how do we correct this problem correctly.

Love the plugin, Works great on my Default theme. However I have found a nice theme I would like to use instead “journalized-blue”.
The side bars are set up different, causing the most popular listing to lose format, no bullets ans its all bunched together “www.wagnertech.net/blog”
I’ve tried several different ways and this is the best I can do, and I Was wondering if you have any suggestions to fix it. I know its not your coding, Just asking for a bump in the right direction.

I have just got done batteling this problem myself. (example —-> https://www.wagnertech.net/blog/go.php?https://www.wagnertech.net/?p=46)
deleting the BLOG ADDRESS URI in the OPTIONS GENERAL area, only to have it magically return again, after many different attempts, I found by putting a period there, the double url I was getting when clicking on a READ MORE link is now fixed.

WORD OF WARNING!!!!!!
After I deleted the WordPress address (URI), I was unable to log in, and my WP blog was all screwed up. so be carefull! and BACKUP BEFORE PLAYING AROUND lol, but we always do that…. don’t we.

I’ve installed the Post Teaser plugin, and it worked on all the pages, BUT my main page??? take a look ( https://www.wagnertech.net/blog ).
My best guess is… There is a problem with the main catagory and main page. It shows to have MOPAR as my main catagory in WP-Admin, and all the articles are as they should be, “excerpted”. when you go to that page.

Any other thoughts?
