Import speed depends on
1) No of columns in CSV to process
Remove unwanted columns from CSV. You can refer a minimal column Sample CSV here and see the column descriptions here.
2) Fetch time of Image URL if you are importing images along with product.
If importing with images, Use faster CDN image URL if any
3) Network speed.
If internet speed is good that speed up the remote fetching data

Can you share the page screenshot of WooCommerce System Status( Under menu WooCommerce -> System Status). So we can check this with same configuration and find out if any issues.
We haven’t had any other reports of this, and I’m not seeing it myself.

Try exporting one product with your desired category selected with that product and re use the category column on importing product for the same category. It may be creating new category as there will be some mismatch in CSV category and existing category.
This version of the plugin will work seamlessly only with simple products import/export and update. For handling all other types of WooCommerce products including simple,variable…checkout the Pro version of the plugin.

Importing 2 same products in different language, with different SKU will work with current scenario itself.
We are not planning Polylang plugin with basic version but complete WPML support.“Yes, you can import products with the plugin in different languages.
However, the connection between each language should be updated manually.”we are checking on this with complete WPML compatibility. currently the export process will export only current language products

3) You can re-consider your review as we are just exporting all the data from database as it is with UTF-8 encoding only. ( This is really not an issue with the plugin )

However, this can be possible with our Pro Version.
