In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Description box not workingIf it were a free theme, I could download and test. Since it’s a paid theme I can’t test it. If it recently started doing it, I suspect it’s the theme as the last Sermon Manager update was 2 months ago.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Description box not workingThat is odd. Sounds like an issue with your theme or a plugin. I would suggest disabling all plugins, except for Sermon Manager and see if that fixes it. If it doesn’t switch to a different theme.
If it still doesn’t work, post your site or at least what theme you are using.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Please Add More Support for BlocksSorry I wasn’t more clear. Having a minor stroke in 2007, communication/comprehension isn’t my strong point.
In the process of testing Twenty Twenty-three (I was bored one day) on our test site, I tried creating a customarchive-wpfc_sermon
page. If you don’t enable the “Theme Compatibility” the header/footer don’t match the theme, but it does display all of the content we use from Sermon Manager. I also don’t like the way the default Sermon Manager’sarchive-wpfc_sermon
looks. Enabling “Theme Compatibility” shows the theme’s header/footer correctly, but the only Sermon Manager content displays is the theme image, date and the description. We also add the “Main Bible Passage” and use the “Video Embed Code” as well. You (Sermon Manager) added a few blocks in the past like ‘Speakers’, ‘Series’, ‘Topics’, ‘Bible books’, and ‘Service Types’. Those work as we use some of those. I’m just asking to add a ‘Main Bible Passage’ and ‘Video Embed Code’ block so a user can create a custom
archive-wpfc_sermon
on any FSE theme.Currently we are using the free version of Astra (https://faithcommunitybible.org/), so we currently don’t need that, but we may switch over to a WordPress theme in the future.
Hope this all makes sense.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] ‘list_podcasts’ Shortcode Doesn’t Work Any MoreThe shortcode is still broken or at least a bug. If you use the
exclude
feature, you can display the podcasts…[list_podcasts exclude="none"]
Using the
include
feature doesn’t work at all.Hope this will help somebody as I doubt @wpforchurch will see this post.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] No Images sizes in source codeI was curious so I checked on of my sites and I noticed one of the pages with an image doesn’t display the width/height in the HTML, but the other does. It is the same image. I went back to the first page and reloaded the image and saved it. Now it displays the width/height in the HTML.
The only thing I can think of (in my case) it’s possible that the page that didn’t display the code may have been a page I created a long time ago (before FSE) and it just didn’t convert correctly? I really don’t know.
You might try reloading the image and see what happens.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] sermon_images displayI think you said you’re using the Astra Pro earlier. We use the free version, so I added this to the Additional CSS section to a test page and this works…
/* Removes Columns on 'sermon_images' Shortcode */ .entry-content #wpfc_images_grid { grid-template-columns: 100%; }

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Latest Series not working@wpforchurch Sorry but
[latest_series]
does NOT display our current series on a test page. It lists 1 Corrinthians, yet we are on 2 Corrinthians. The
[latest_series]
“This will display information about the latest sermon series, including the image, title (optional), and description (optional).“There is no mention of a list of series, only the latest series.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] CSS shortcode sermonsThanks, that helps. Sometimes you may need to be more specific using selectors. In your case, if you use
.wpfc-sermon-main .wpfc-sermon-audio
instead of just.wpfc-sermon-audio
that should isolate it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Sermon Manager] CSS shortcode sermonsSorry, but I don’t understand your question.

In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Please Add More Support for BlocksI’ll try. In order to use any of the new WP Full Site Editor themes you first have to enable “Theme Compatibility” so the Sermon Archive, Single Item Sermon etc have the same look (Header, Footer etc) like the rest of the site, which is fine. Problem is, if you have the ‘Display > Archive > Display Audio Player’ and ‘Display Attachments’ checked, those are removed if you use the Theme Compatibility.
A user can create their own Sermon Archive Template and add Blocks as I see we can add ‘Speakers’, ‘Series’, ‘Topics’, ‘Bible books’, and ‘Service Types’.
I’m asking if you can at least add the ‘Main Bible Passage’ on the Sermon Details section, because we use it. We don’t display the attachments like Notes, Bulletin or Audio on the Archive page.
Currently we use Astra, but we may switch to a FSE theme some day if you added more Blocks as mentioned.
Hope this all makes sense.
