I don’t really know where to put this code.
Maybe I am just doing it all wrong.
I have been using appearance->Editor and then I select the Buddymatic theme to edit and then choose the header.php at the side.

The only mention af “header” there is this :

<?php thematic_aboveheader(); ?>

<div id=”header”>
<?php thematic_header() ?>
</div><!– #header–>

I don’t see anything about branding or blog title… I am sure I’m doing this all wrong…

And I don’t know what a child theme is…

I’m sorry for my complete ignorance :S

I should also say that I tried to paste this :

/”><img src=”https://hildurgunnlaugs.is/wp-content/uploads/Headline.png&#8221; alt=”st” title=”st” />
</div>

into the header.php and delete the text from the title box but there was such a large gap between the image and the rest that it just didn’t look nice :S

This is my site, It is a work in progress: https://hildurgunnlaugs.is/
I really like the simple look of theme but I would like to have this image: https://hildurgunnlaugs.is/wp-content/uploads/Headline.png as the title (instead of the “Hildur Gunnlaugs” title) and maybe also a text underneath it as you suggested so it can be searched.

I am not very familiar with code but I am good at following instruction.
