In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] the last update broke my siteIt happened to our site, and I simply disabled the plugin. I was quite lucky enough to find it soon after the update, so probably few visitors noticed it, i.e., our entire site had been completely broken.
If it will be actually fixed soon, I will reactivate the plugin. If this issue is due to incompatibility with other plugins, I will consider which plugin is more important for us.
Let me know if you need further information from our side.
For your reference, @jeff1245 , AIOSEO has the same function and it has been working fine. Since our website is for internal use only and do not need SEO, we use this plugin instead.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Will this be new standard?Me again.
After some trial and error, I’ve found this theme quite useful!
Replacing a conventional theme with this one still takes some time and effort, depending on the complexity. But it’s worth doing because this theme is quite flexible and useful. The combination of this theme and the query loop block is fascinating.

In reply to: [Redirection] What happened?If activating the plug in caused a change, it DID SOMETHING!

In reply to: [Redirection] What happened?I disabled the plugin, waited for a while, then our website has been recovered.
I’m almost sure it did something, but maybe due to conbination of it and other plugins, theme, or even the web server?
BTW I use this plug in on another website (with different plugins, theme, on a different server). It works fine and I appreciate it.

As for the site network issue, I will try one, or another, in the near future.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Some (not all) clients cannot send a messageHere is the details.
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/iframe/We use this plugin to embed Google map, because iframe is automatically removed in site network environment.

Plugins: Akismet Anti-Spam, All in One SEO, Broken Link Checker, Classic Widgets, Content Views, CookieYes | GDPR Cookie Consent, Display Posts, Easy Accordion, Essential Content Types, FileBird Lite, Flamingo, Header Footer Code Manager, iframe, Jetpack, Members, MetaSlider, Strong Testimonials, Wordfence Security, WP Maps, XO Event Calendar
I’ve seen a common solution on the forum; deactivate all plugins except for Contact Form 7 and activate one by one to see what happens. But unfortunately this does not work because Contact Form 7 works normally on our side.
Can you help?

In reply to: [Podamibe Simple Footer Widget Area] Does not work on home pageUnfortunately no. I’ve got no feedback from the developer, so I just uninstalled the plugin.
Alternative solution is to use another plugin called “Scripts n Styles” and write a set of HTML code at the end of the body tag. But this is not as easy as using footer widgets.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Cannot open new site’s dashboard: redirected you too many timesThank you @bcworkz. The problem has been solved.
Now I know it was quite a simple mistake.
Much appreciated.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Fatal Error & can’t log in to fix itThank you @travel_girl. I had a similar problem when deactivating and re-activating plugins. It happened with Jetpack, which I trust the most among many plugins.
Now, I re-installed Jetpack, made sure there are newly made “jetpack” folder and the renamed one, “jetpack1” folder. But if I try to activate the newly-installed one, the sane problem happens again.
Is there any way to retrieve it?
Please kindly let me know if I should ask this to Jetpack.Thank you,

In reply to: localhost redirected you too many times.(Multisite)Hello,
Let me jump into this forum. I have a similar problem.
I set up a site, and then created a network, by following the instruction in the page below.
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Create_A_NetworkI edited wp-config.php and htaccess files. But if I try to open dashboard of the new site, it always says;
This page isn’t working
ramen-uroko.com redirected you too many times.
Try clearing your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTSI read the explanation in the page above,
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/htaccess#WordPress_3.5_and_up
but I’m still not sure if I edited my .htaccess file correctly or not.Later part of the .htaccess files went as below;
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>AddHandler x-mapp-php5.5 .php
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
I simply replaced the lines between “# BEGIN WordPress” and “# END WordPress” with the lies below, as instructed;
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]# add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^ – [L]
RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $2 [L]
RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(.*\.php)$ $2 [L]
RewriteRule . index.php [L]Is this what I am supposed to do? If so, what else prevents me from creating a network?
