  • Hello David,

Are you using the same PHP version 8.0 on your website? Try to check if your website running on another PHP version or not?

And, make sure the ImageMagick extension is properly installed by running this command as root:

    phpX.Y-sp -i | grep imagick

    Hello,

Moving your custom scripted website into WordPress is not an easy task for beginners. Most probably your website has data, and lots of other settings.

The best option will be to hire a developer and build the website from scratch on WordPress CMS, and make a similar theme.

    Best regards.

Did you tried to install WordPress from Softaculous yet? It’s provide easy to install WordPress experience. Almost, all hosting companies offer this on their control panel.

Also, for manual installation, if you are unable to install the WordPress, and if the WordPress is failed to write your entered value on wp-config.php file, then check the file have written permission or not. For most cases, this happens dur to permission issue.

If your hosting provider provided you cPanel, then login to cPanel>File Manager>Goto public_html>select wp-config.php file>on the upper side of the page you will see a permission button>edit the permission.

    Thanks.

If you have recently migrating your website from SiteGround to cPanel based hosting, almost all web hosting providers, offer free migration. You can simply ask your web hosting provider to migrate your website from SiteGround, or if your website backup is downloaded on your computer, then simply upload the backup file on your website via FTP and ask your provider to restore the backup.

Also, for database be sure you are using same username and database name for your new installation. However, your best option will be contact your hosting provider and describe the issue.

Are you using WordPress hosting or VPS hosting with Windows OS?
If you are using WordPress hosting, your hosting provider might have provided you an easy-to-use control panel to install or manage WordPress sites.
But if you are using unmanaged VPS hosting with Windows OS, then you might have already received RDP access of your server. For managed VPS, ask your provider to install the WordPress site for you.
