In reply to: Lots of broken links – JSONHi bcworkz.
That sounds reassuring, but I’m afraid I have to ask questions as I don’t fully understand. What are REST API endpoints? What are JSON data and why do they need to be returned, and to whom? If Linktiger (for example) does not know how to read JSON, what does? If I click on those links, I get various no-access pages (401 usually). What is the purpose of these pages, do I need them and if not, how can I get rid of them?

Hi Cais.
Thanks for that. Setting the columns to 0 appears to have worked, with the exception of one post (here). Why that one behaves differently is a mystery to me.
Regarding the other issue, just to clarify: On most computers, clicking on a nextgen thumbnail opens that gallery without changing the address in the browser bar. On mine, it actually changes to a different page, on the lines of https://www.petersommer.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/…

Right, I still need help.
I can now identify 2 problems:
1) The problem I observe only applies on my own computer (Firefox, Linux). When I click on a thumbnail in a gallery, it opens as a new page with no cation or arrows. When I use my colleague’s computer (firefox, Windows), the image show up in front of the pagem with captions and arrows showing properly. Any idea what might cause this?
2) Something has happened to the column structure. All my galleries are meant to be divided in 3 columns. However, I end up with a row of 2 thumbnails, then a single one, then 2 again, and so on. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Thank you, jenily!
That did it. Splendid, really.
Is there anywhere or anyhow that I could have found out by myself?
No reply, no reaction, no solution?
I know things are probably busy for everyone, but I am a bit disappointed at the lack of any reaction here. As things stand, my blog is broken, as the galleries are a central aspect of it, and I have no indication that anyone is doing anything about it, or even noticing…
I have done that. Strangely, the NextgenGallery plugin is now at the new version again. I’d like to downgrade that, too, but of course the tutorial (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/) won’t load at all. I guess I’m not the only one with problems. Can anyone tell me how to downgrade?

In reply to: Image click does nothingHi again.
I tried that, but couldn’t find what’s wrong.
I found one thing, however, that might be relevant:
I cann access images as normal through the Media Library and “Edit Media” button. From there, if I click on “View Attachment Page”, I am taken to the error message “404! We couldn’t find the page!”.
Does that ring any bells?

In reply to: 403 error after changing Permalink settingsSo, I solved this by choosing a backup of data from the host server and then reconstructing what I had done in between (2 hours of work). Which means I am now back on default settings. I don’t think I can log it as solved.
I am happy to be back to normal functionality, but I would still like to change the permalink settings from default without losing access to my blog, as post number is hardly the most attractive option for viewers.
Does anyone know how I can change permalink settings without losing my blog?
(I am also slightly concerned that I might communicate badly – I get next to no replies on this forum – am I doing something wrong?).

In reply to: Twenty Eleven custom header images not showingSolved the issue by saving the images from the server, deleting them from WP and then reuploading them. Bit cumbersome but fine now…

In reply to: Problem with Turkish charactersI resolved this by using the proper html codes for the characters in question, and using the html editor on those occasions.
