Your JavaScript is placed at the end of a page and therefore I suspect that the script is not loaded at all or much too late (at least in the frontend).
I have tried the following and it works: In the Divi theme options, I added your JavaScript to the header code in the “Integration” tab.
Maybe this will help you.

unfortunately, the plugin only works for me in the admin panel. We use the latest version of Divi. Unfortunately, today’s update did not solve the problem.

Unfortunately, we currently only have our project in development under xampp. Are you aware of this problem?
