In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] Post Titles not showing on blog pageMichael,
I had a developer create a child’s theme. I’m not a developer so is there somewhere I can copy code from and get it to you?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can't login to edit. Automatically forwards to home pageI basically deleted the site from the back-end since it was new and only 3 pages and started a new one.

In reply to: Can't login to edit. Automatically forwards to home pageThe manual update seems very complex. I usually just update automatically. How do I fix/change the theme from the back-end?

In reply to: [Evergreen Post Tweeter] Doesn't connect to TwitterThat quite frankly isn’t the answer, Tom. Yahoo, who hosts us, said it was your plugin that made our site crash.
We had a Tweet Old Post plugin and it had worked with Twitter and we haven’t added any new plugins since then so it’s not our flash code.
This caused a 500 server error and our site went down. We had to uninstall it.

In reply to: [Lightbox Plus Colorbox] simple explanation of code for an external linkHere’s their explanation.
In the case of an external webpage you merely need to specify the URL to display. In this case we are using the class method for instantiating the lightbox. When the user clicks the link instead of redirecting the browser to another page it opens the page within the lightbox.
External Content (Iframe/Direct Link To WordPress plugins)
Do you put your own location for the lightbox-plus plugin on the first url? What is “External content”? Is that the url where you want to go?. What is (Iframe/Direct Link To WordPress plugins)?
I have two urls. One is the actual page https://Leadershipskills.SuccessTelevision.biz. I want to launch a login page inside a lightbox and not leave the previous page: https://site.successtelevision.biz/registration/include/register.php
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just found older version and using that. It works!

In reply to: Numbers added to end of urlActually, Jan,
I didn’t want to disable that plugin so I found where someone else said I could go into the Settings for that plugin and uncheck the “Track Address” under the Advanced options.
It worked!! ??

In reply to: Problem previewing website after changed urlSince I’ve done everything the directions have said to do, I wonder if having a separate live site up with the url: https://wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com/ is causing the problem?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problem previewing website after changed urlOk. I think we’re missing each other. I went through all those steps except .htaccess for the reason explained above.
Wordpress has it’s own directory:
https://www.wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com/HealthManagementTipsThe root directory is https://www.wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com
The file underneath that is HealthManagement Tips where the WordPress files are. I’m assuming that’s what is called the subdirectory or WordPress directory.
I coped the index.php and put it on the root directory: https://www.wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com and added HealthManagmentTips as directed from that link.
/** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */
require(‘./HealthManagementTips/wp-blog-header.php’);Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problem previewing website after changed urlThat’s what I’m referring to as the folder, HealthManagementTips.

In reply to: Problem previewing website after changed urlI changed the url back to this: https://wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com/HealthManagementTips so I can preview the blogs but it doesn’t solve the main problem..trying to change the url to https://wpbphysicaltherapycenter.com/ . Also, WordPress is in its own directory or sub-folder, “HealthManagementTips”.
I followed all the instructions in “Changing the Site URL” but could not find a .htaccess file. (I think that’s becuase we’re hosted on Yahoo and they don’t have them. I remember this from long ago.) I changed the index.php file like directed on the root directory. Still didn’t work. Any other ideas? I’d like to avoid launching the site with that long url.

In reply to: [User Photo] User Photo – thumbnail not showingI have WordPress 3.2.1 and I can see the photo in the user’s profile but it does not publish and show up next to their bios.
Does anyone know of another plugin that would work. This is pretty simple but I’m having a very hard time finding one. Thanks!

In reply to: 301 redirect not workingYou’re right about the plugin we’re using. I’ve reached out to the developer, Don, hoping he can help!
