In reply to: [Random Content] Doesn’t workHi Jeremy,
No, I just can’t add categories to a post or page. The idea is to have a random selection of posts somewhere, no? I cannot find a way to select categories nowhere.
Kind regards

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] Critical error after updateHi Gregory,
Same error here.
I deleted wp-cerber – error persists
I choose automatic PHP update (=automatic selection of the latest stable version) – error persists
I choose manual PHP version, 7.3.29 (the oldest that my hosts accepts without protesting) – error goes away.
I choose automatic PHP update (=automatic selection of the latest stable version) – all ok
So it seems a little more complicated than updating PHP
Kind regards

In reply to: [Swift SMTP (formerly Welcome Email Editor)] Stars shown instead of passwordHi,
I think I found it. After deactivating Theme My Login all is OK.
-HansHi,
Same here – after complaints of users it appears the password is not sent, and I cannot find a way to get the pw to the users. And asking them to fill out the Forgot password attempt leads nowhere – just a login screen where … they have to enter the password they don’t know.

In reply to: WordPress failed to update to WordPress 4.0-beta4-20140822Hi,
Yes I saw that piece of text – but I have no idea what I shoulmd check. And in any case: the updates are frequent and always succesful – except this one, without me changing anything…
There was another one, also succesful.

Create a menu – you can add the pages and order them you want.

In reply to: 3.5 gives errorHi esmi,
It appeared to be Theme my Login.
In any case, disabling all plugins or resetting the site was not an option: this is a multisite installation, and I couldn’t risk to break everything.

In reply to: Update problem invalid argumentHi,
Disable the plugin Theme my login, then enable it again.

In reply to: 3.5 gives errorHi,
Can you tell us which plugin it was?
I was under the impression that the cause could have been multisite being enabled.

HansHi Aaron,
Seems to work fine now. Thanks!
-HansHi,
A confirmation: the new version of the plugin works (I only display events to come), but the admin screen does -not- show the events, nor let the administrator add or remove events.
For the time being, the plugin is virtually useless, I’m afraid.

HansHi,
No, I’m saying that 1.5.4 does work on my single site installation (I have three of them)
It does not work on my multisite installations (I have two of them)

HansHi,
It doesn’t work here either, and it sure does work on other WP installations of mine (done the same way, same version etc etc etc).
My guess is it doens’t work on multisite installations.
A pity, because I like it very much and it is a key feature that I need for some projects I work on.Hi Andrea,
Thank you! I took a deep breath, added everything to the config file, and the blogs are back.
