In reply to: Page loading half way downI tried clearing cache, used a different browser, and went to the site in Chrome Incognito. It still does the same thing – loads half way down; not at the top like it should, where you see the green header. ??

Does that help at all?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Page loading half way downThanks for offering to look into it.
In what way are you are unabe to access the website?
By edit mode, do you mean the Dashboard?
I am using the Classic Editor.
The landing page doesn’t have any unnecessary spaces. I checked. There are no image blocks. I am not an advanced user, but would appreciate any suggestions you might have that I can follow. Thanks.

In reply to: Modality theme page has become website’s Home pageHello,
Thank you for your reply. I looked into the theme’s page and see what you mean. I was unaware this had happened. I never considered the likelihood the theme would no longer be supported quite so soon. I guess you have to check that from time to time, because how would you know, otherwise? I did not get a reply when I recently contacted the theme owner to ask questions. That should have raised some suspicion, but it didn’t. Wiser now about that.
Moving to a new theme is the next step. Thanks again for your support.

In reply to: [Modality] Hide all “Social Links” in footerThanks. I had more or less tried what you suggest above but it didn’t quite work out. So, what I did was to delete the code to the social links in the parent theme as it is never going to be used. That worked.

In reply to: [Modality] Hide all “Social Links” in footerMaybe I am asking too much, but trying to get rid of the grey footer with the built in social links icons has me stumped. I see no way to do this in Customize or Settings when it should be obvious. This is particularly because our organization does not subscribe to several of the social media platforms. The built icons are redundant. Thanks. I hope somebody can tell me how to fix this.
Hi @kbat82, yes, it is the free version of the plugin. Here is a link to their documentation.
In the meanwhile, I took the plugin down from my site (offending plugin still active) and substituted it for something else as I had to have a slider of some kind.
MetaSlider plugin security check doesn’t speak of any vulnerability but I guess a non working plugin does not apply.
Thank you for sticking with me on this problem. It is much appreciated.

A theme update is needed. I hope this will resolve the problem.
Here’s a stab in the dark. Do think if I deleted the MetaSlider plugin and re-installed, it might fix itself?
In Settings, I do not see anywhere to purge cache-only browser cache. ??
Thank you for helping. I deactivated the Styles plugin. No change. Should I delete this plugin to get rid of files. or something else?
In the Advanced Settings, all are enabled: Print CSS. Print JS. No conflict mode.
OK, I checked and I do not have the bwp-minify plugin at all.
