In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Confirmation Email FloodHi Alex. The following are excellent updates.
– “Please wait, loading…” message.
– The same goes for “Save and continue” and “Save and Go Back”. Great implementation, though I think the buttons are oversized.
– Quiz result report: The way you’re presenting answer validations and incorrect choices is perfect. The colors are balanced, the report visually appealing, and easy to read.Some bugs and possible areas for improvement.
==================================
Multiple Choice and Blank Filling.
==================================
(1) The question distance from the question number is too small. The questions is too close to the gray line.
You can either increase the distance or check whether getting rid of “all” division lines will get you the breathing space I miss.
Alternatively, getting rid of the line between alternatives will offer a clear, minimalist design. Although I like it, it is a personal choice.(2) The box that brings the “Grade Boundary” result adds an extra paragraph space in the end of the text.
(3) When I show one question per page in the 50-question quiz, the test works as expected.
When the report is shown on screen,…
3.1 The report takes an eternity to load.
3.1. It displayed originally 4 answers and a long blank sheet. After some time (long time) the report was fully loaded. The users will get confused and think this is a glitch, or something went wrong with their tests,
3.2. The admin report (/wp-admin/options.php?page=ek-user-attempt&attemptID=138) is perfect.
3.3 I still got 50 emails informing a user had taken the quiz.
=======================
Blank filling Quizzes
=======================
(4) When the quiz is over, the final report includes the quiz instructions.=================================
Multiple choice quizzes (single choice)
=================================
(5) Please check the persistent behavior that allows users to check two alternatives.
(you’ll probably have to change answers more than once to replicate such behavior). This is happening on mobile devices. (didn’t have a chance to check on desktops.)I suppose this is a good starting point.
All the best,

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Two Critical Performance IssuesHi Alex.
I see in a “Site Health Box” in the Dashboard (/wp-admin/site-health.php). Those errors appear under a “Should Be Improved” warning.Humberto

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Confirmation Email FloodHi Alex.
I tested this again, this time with 50 questions and without the email (me) upon quiz completion. Though the the quiz presents all questions as expected, when you reach the end, it does not submit the quiz in the first time the user confirms quiz completion.I had to confirm 3 times. Then the quiz showed the results online, but failed to save quiz results database.
I suspect this has something to do with pagination.
Note that if you show to show one question at a time, the plugin submits one email per page shown onscreen upon quiz completion.
Hope this throws some extra light into this issue.
Regards,
Humberto

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Question Pots Deletion not workingHi Alex. It works.
I created a test Pot (Delete Me) and filled it with 2 questions. Then a created a quiz and used the 2 questions from the “Delete me” pot. After that, I went back to the “Delete Me” pot and deleted it.
It worked as expected. And it was an excellent idea to include a warning message.When I checked the Quizzes here (wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ek_quiz), the quiz that used the questions from the “Delete Me” port still listed two questions in the second column.
However, I had no problems to trash the quiz and delete it permanently.
You may wish to check into this minor issue at a later time.
Thanks for the implementation.
BW,Humberto

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Question managementHi Alex.
I tested the new search box and it works flawlessly. I hope other users will find it as useful as I do. This little feature makes the Quiz Tool even more valuables as a quiz management tool. Thanks again.
Regarding the deletion implementation, I’ll test it later and let you know.

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Report Standard for Unanswered Quiz SubmissionsHi Alex,
About the “disable feedback in the quiz settings” approach, that’s a global setting. Disabling feedback would prevent those who answer the questions and make mistakes from checking where they failed (in case feedback comments exist.)
As you may have other pressing issues to review, you may prefer to put such exceptions in the back burner. I’ll leave it in my list and, in case it starts getting n the way, I’ll revive this topic.
I’ll leave it up to you to mark this topic as resolved.Humberto

In reply to: [Quiz Tool Lite] Quiz Dates | Time Countdown1. You got the right page (https://hmancuso.com/wp-admin/options.php?page=ek-user-attempts&quizID=10140&userID=3). The date is OK, but the time shown should be the local time, as it appears in WordPress settings page (https://hmancuso.com/wp-admin/options-general.php) .
