In reply to: Customize Issues – everything disappearedI have seen discussion on WordPress board about the “Customize” feature. We are not the only ones describing similar issues.
There were many layers of changes to that one area made with the update to 4.5.
It is not consistent–I have nine sites that I updated to 4.5 last week. 3 of 4 using Catchbox had issues…the rest did not.
A Catchbox support person is going to look deeper at one of the sites this evening.
Currently everything is working as I want it to on my 4 sites…but it would be great if I could get Customize running on all 4 with Catchbox Theme.

i got email from another support person and will respond tomorrow.

In reply to: Customize Issues – everything disappearedI run 4 similar sites using Catchbox (Free) Theme. I updated all 4 on 4/14/16.
3 of the 4 sites are currently not working correctly. The one that does work correctly, Customize loads fully. (https://vital.wnccumc.org)
The problem with the three that do not work is that Customize does not fully load–shows only- “Upgrade to Pro Block, Widgets, Active Theme “Catchbox Block” The Tab continues to read- “Customize: Loading…” [https://wnccumc.org , https://leadwncc.org, https://mission.wnccumc.org]
CatchThemes has been notified of the issue.
I have 4 other sites using other themes that were not affected by the upgrade.

In reply to: [The Newswire] Date WrongI believe that your update on March 14th messed up the date again.
The cur-date up top is showing UTC time, not my set time of New York which is UTC-4
I would appreciate a simple fix
I just discovered something based on another post.
Edit the install PHP file at the bottom of the plug in…
Line 12…
I took out the ‘ on either side of WP Touch(right after Trademark:) in the PHP install file, saved the file, hit activate, and it installed..
It makes no sense to me, because that whole line is not to be read by the parser…but that did the trick.
That was the WP Touch right after Trademark:
I saw your line 12 error and tried something. I took out the ‘ on either side of WP Touch in the PHP install file and it activated.
It makes no sense to me, because that whole line is not to be read by the parser…but that did the trick.
Same problem. I downloaded an older version about 3 weeks ago and it installed fine. This newer version that states it was updated a week ago has an issue. The product has worked well on several websites. This is the first time it has never installed properly. It appears to be in the wptouch install php file…but I cannot find the error in the header (there was one according to a debugger in line 70)
I think it can be solved quickly, but I don’t know enough about the code to figure it out.
Sorry, I found another plugin that served me better for this set of sites I am working on.
I still think you have a great product, and may use it on other projects in the future.
