@jamesosborne I’ve been playing around with things for a few hours, and I would also like to add, connecting my google analytics account works fine, since it allows me to manually enter the property. However I can’t find a way to manually do this for search console. What I found on github was related to creating endpoints to process transactions, which is a lot more complicated than what I need. I just need to be able to have a screen like this, but for connecting search console. The functionality already exists to do this.

also to note, I am not using headless wordpress, but it may be behaving similar. its the same wordpress install, I just access the backend via a different domain. think of it as 1 wp install with multiple valid urls. you can access the front-end & back-end via abc.backend.com(/wp-admin), but on frontend.com you can only access the front-end, no admin.

All i would need is a way to change the verify url when connecting the site, since the hooks, the verification codes, and everything else, is being loaded on both domains.
