I can’t give you a definitive answer but for me I had to push my hosting company to look into it. Originally they just blamed it on the developer but after some pushing finally changed some code on their side which fixed it. They wouldn’t tell me what but, based on email exchanges, seemingly something to do with outbound permissions. They are forever blocking my plug-ins and causing issues like this. I won’t be with them much longer.

On that basis, I do not recommend ABCHK.com hosting in Hong Kong. They are dinosaurs tech-wise with the worst support imaginable.

In contrast, MonsterInsights were very helpful and I suggest contacting them directly.

However, I guess that doesn’t really solve the original issue which must be a mis-configuration of Outlook/domain DNS records. Not your problem, of course –?just saying.

For anyone’s future info – it turns out my hosting company had to whitelist specific mailchimp IP addresses on their firewall. Apparently the wildcard *.apimailchimp.com could not be used.

Thanks, Harish. Yes, I get error: Form 9169 > MailChimp API error: Error connecting to MailChimp. It’s been intermittent for the last few days it seems. One error on July 5, all fine on the 6, then again those errors yesterday and today.

My hosting co assure me the connection is open. Whether they are to be believed is another matter, but they seem pretty confident and fixed it when I originally signed up.
