Same problem here. I’m trying to get events calendar running in Finnish, but it won’t work. I’ve downloaded the language files from version 4.4.7. I’ve also gotten the language package for WordPress generally, it works ok.
I’ve tried to deactivate and activate the calendar again, but nothing. Renaming other (newer) language files to Finnish ones did nothing, language remained in English.
Please help, how is this supposed to work?
