Sorry, I had to leave urgently for classes end could not end my thought on this. What I intended to ask was: how would it work now to proceed with Google Auth for all my other 5 editors and 20 contributors. Would everyone have to set up the Google app, had me to insert the key from the backend and would be finally able to login with the time based one time passwords just like I can right now?
If so this would be a solution to my problem.

thanks for getting back to me so quick! The problem ist that I see the fnew field in the formular but I do not have a button which says send mail or anything like this. Yesterday night I managed to get it to work for my admin account wit Google Auth – an amazing work you did there – it works like a charme. What I simply do not understand is the mechanism – I turned it on for ALL Userroles – nevertheless now besides me no one can effectively log in. I also do not see an edit field in the profiles of the users when I try end edit them as an admin. I do not use a plugin for the login, I only style the login page a bit with a style sheet in WHITE LABEL CMS, but no buttons or stuff is hidden. Maybe we can figure this out. A reinstall did not work! Talk to you soon! Thank yoU!

Really interesting, when I hook into the plugs code and copy thet block where the posts data is called I can manage to call a custom type succesfully. However the right data is being displyed in an additional circle but unfortunately the animation is not being renederd it the new circle. I also copied the java script diagram animation code but somehow it got stuck. I am far from a great coder but if you could provide an idea I would be endlessly thankful! Also a link integration to the overview site would be great when following the drafts, public and deleted files. Nevertheless I will try that on my own. Great idea, really stylish!

Well, wisely spoken…as I am kind of self taught and develop a site for my school…could anyone tell me how to easily perform a test of this feature on my localhost, I have MAMP set up on a MAC Pro, I have WP 3.5.1 installed and do not use any other htaccess altering security software besides WP. How is a safe way to see my server running time? And I also do not find the Hide my backend-feature. I thought that enabling AWAY actually hides my backend and prevents anyone from logging in. I also would find a function quite more convincing that enabled the admin to log in at least but I understand that this would undermine the whole technical concept for sure. I guess I got something terribly wrong here. If anyone can actually shed a light on this I would be thankful! Greetz!

I solved it particularly but I am highly interested how to use this feature. I still do NOT KNOW what is going on.

What I did is:

rename the plugin folder (I did it with adding a simple 2!)
access backend (should be accessible by now)
rename the folder while admin running
activate WP SECURITY
change AWAY state to be disabled
check funcionality by logging out and in again

I DID NOT CHANGE THE .htaccess by no means!
Nevertheless WP is altering .ht access while disabling the away mode.

Any ideas on this?

so sorry, I DID read through the posts before I asked but now that I doublechecked I found the related question, I found the code snippet, put it in and added my second custom post type to the one custom already in it. What can I say? It works LIKE A CHARM and I am really happy. That throws in some valuable better user experience on a multi author blog. Thank you for the support and resolving your support threads here. I am really happy. In any case someone stumbles upon the same problem: after copying the code snippet you have to change either your gplus image name to “gplus2” or change the parth in the update file to make google plus appear. Strangely my linked in is gone now. I guess linked in has been added more recently to the back and front end! Gracias, un million!

Seems I have been a little too early about this one, still I love it.
A bug is: in the mail overview you cannot use any ot the bulk actions. actions are not executed but lead to nothing. moreover a link “answer to all” displayed also leads into a page not found site. I think there are minor faults which could be easily resolved though. Still love the plug and hopefully is is being developed!
