All right, did just that. You were right – page caching was set to enhanced mode.

I’ve cleaned all caches, so let’s leave it for, give or take, a week and see whether the problem gets resolved.

Hi Ash,

I did just that, but to no avail. I tried resetting cache multiple times, but the problem keeps coming back. After some time (3-4 days), the site starts pointing to the 404 page instead of any other page on the site.

Hi Ashok,

just pinging you, so you know the issue hasn’t disappeared. I have a feeling the issue is either in minification or in plug-in’s integration with CloudFlare. The only thing that helps is to purge cache as well as CloudFlare every week. You might understand that it’s not a very sustainable practice.

Here is a quick update. When I activate the default theme, the error doesn’t occur. I had one of your colleagues look at the site in February and since then everything was all right until now.

Thanks for letting me know. I have already tried disabling the theme and found out that it might have been the case. Disabling plug-ins changed nothing.

Solved. I erased all languages, deleted the plugin and reinstalled everything from scratch.

I gave it another shot and tested it out on features.

1) deactivated all plugins except Polylang
2) added a new feature “my?ka nádobí”
3) assigned the Czech language to it using Quick Edit and it worked

However, when I edited the category in full edit mode and tried to assign it a translation (i.e. “dishwasher”), it broke and Czech language got unassigned.

At least we have the quick edit part done. Is there anything else I can do?

Sadly, no. It doesn’t work. The categories, features and property types are provided by the wpCasa theme. I have already contacted their support, they tested it thoroughly and found nothing wrong with the theme.
