Hi @mediawaypoint,
Thanks for all the details.
The function maybe_create_table() only creates the table if it does not exist, see official WP documentation: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/maybe_create_table/
Something else which is strange is, that the function ai1ic_install() is called every minute. This function is only called on admin_init by the plugin. The plugin does not use any WP cron events. So I assume something else is calling this function every minute.
Therefore I think another plugin/theme might interfere. Can you try to deactivate all plugins and activate one after the other to hopefully find out more?
@rschach OK so at least we know the cause of your issue. When you visit the following page and click the button, does it solve your issue?
English path: WP Admin > Dashboard > Updates > Translations > Update Translations
German path: WP Admin > Dashbaord > Aktualisierungen > übersetzungen > übersetzungen aktualisieren
@manup-1 Thank you for updating the French files. Can you please wait until your suggestions are approved and then also update your translations as described above?
Hi,
There are two common ways to do translations a) via translate.www.ads-software.com and b) via translation files shipped with the plugin.
There are updated German translation files shipped with the latest version of the plugin (option b).
But translations via translate.www.ads-software.com (option a) always get priority over shipped files (option b). I have no control over this rule. Only if there is no translation available on translate.www.ads-software.com, then the shipped files will be used.
As you have updated the plugin to the latest version (I guess so) I assume your website still uses the old translate.www.ads-software.com translations, it seems those did not update on your website (which should have happened automatically). Please check wp-content/languages/plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha-de_DE.po
If my assumption is correct then this file will contain English words like (Plane, Tree, Truck etc.) and not words like (plane, tree, truck etc.).
This was the only recent change regarding translation, only changing Plane –> into plane etc.
I hope this helps.
Great to hear that it worked!
Hi Bob,
I just saw that you have attached a link to your website.
Please try to insert this CSS, I have tested it on your website, it should do the job:
.kc_captcha .wpcf7-form-control {
background-color: transparent;
}Hi Bob / @sayermcshane,
I am not sure if I fully understand your request.
The plugin has no settings, the captcha can only be activated or deactivated.
In most cases the styling should just work fine. Of course there can always occur interferences between different plugins / themes.
So in your case, you can either find out which plugin / theme is causing this by deactivating and activating one after the other. Or you use the WP Admin > Appearance > Custom CSS setting to fix this with some lines of CSS.
I hope this helps.
Hi @sergeyzhuk,
Based on the WP translation Russian should be translated 100%: https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha/stable/ru/default/
Maybe clearing the cache or uninstalling/installing would also have fixed it.
Anyways, great that you could fix it yourself.
Thank you for your review ??

@rschach I also assume as soon as the update of translate.www.ads-software.com is finished all your words should be in German again.
If you need further assistance please let me know.
@kevigarvey I have just released a new version which includes a translation for Danish. Please have a look. If the translation has mistakes, please let me know, I am happy to make adjustments.
@rschach and @huuguu It seems in the meantime the last plugin’s changes are already translated into German, see: https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha/ If you are still seeing the English version, please try 1) to clear the cache 2) deactivate/activate the plugin 3) remove/reinstall the plugin.
Btw: Apologies for the late reply, I do not know why, but I was not notified by @kevigarvey and @rschach message, only @huuguu ‘s message triggered a notification.
Anyways, I can reproduce the issue for German on my end. I can confirm, this is a bug due to the last update and I will fix it asap.
Nevertheless I can not reproduce the issue for Danish. @kevigarvey Can you please send me the URL?
Thank you for reporting this to me.
I will have a look and get asap back to you.
Hi Jean,
The plugin is tested with the most popular themes, but it should also work with many other ones. There should be no need for you to change the theme if you like your current one.
Please be informed that the pro version of the plugin currently only supports selling courses via Paid Memberships Pro OR WooCommerce, not both at the same time.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have additional question.
Best
No. If you need anything else please let me know. Regards
Do you mind contacting me via the contact form, than we can move the conversation to an email thread and discuss giving access to your website to have a look?
