In reply to: [Stock Manager for WooCommerce] error: “cannot modify header…” since updateIt is not quite encouraging to use this plugin (or pay for an upgrade), if there is no reply whatsoever from the side of the developer for five days…

In reply to: [Stock Manager for WooCommerce] error: “cannot modify header…” since updateI uninstalled the version 2.5.6 and installed instead the version 2.5.5. Result: no more error (as described above). So it is definitely a bug that was introduced in the last update of this plugin.

In reply to: [Stock Manager for WooCommerce] error: “cannot modify header…” since updateAdding to my bug description above the following:
I entered “Troubleshooting Mode” and tested if the WooCommerce Stock Manager still does the same error: with all themese deactivated (only theme “2021” active!) and all plugins deactivated, except WooCommerce and Woocommerce Stock Manager, the website still sends the same error message I cited here above, while in “admin dashboard” mode:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/customer/www/mybrandies.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-stock-manager/admin/class-stock-manager-admin.php:493) in /home/customer/www/mybrandies.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6362

@gabrielfuentes thank you for your kind reply and recommendations!
I followed them and the results show that the bug belongs exclusively to WooCommerce:1) I deactivated all themes and plugins, leaving the “2021” theme and WooCommerce active, nothing else. (Using the “troubleshooting mode” that you recommended!)
2) the WooCommerce “Products” page still behaves with the same bug that I presented here above! (if moving the “product short description” up or down, using the “tab arrows”, the content of the “product short description” becomes empty and cannot be edited, until I do not push the “Save draft” or “publish” button of that product.
I would gladly attach screenshots, but I don’t know where, here in this forum…
@rur165
Dear Rashed Ripon, thank you very much! The solution is so simple! I did not think to search for a plugin. The code solution is also great, ant the article you linked there describes perfectly the problems that everyone encounters in these cases, as also the reasons why this should be a standard part of woocommerce.regards from Vienna,
HMI know what the problem is! It is something else! (happened to me too!)
in case you use a Chromium-based browser, set the “tracker and ad blocking level of the browser on “no blocking” ! It does not happen if you use Firefox (even with “enhanced tracking protection on”, in its standard settings).
for some reason, the tracker blocking of the chromium browser blocks also the IMAGES (only!) that you should see in your embedded post (frame, IG, FB, etc.)
Why – no idea!It would be anyway very recommendable that smash baloon repairs this problem, as many visitors of all websites powered by smash baloon won’t know what is happening and why.
At least, smash baloon should include some text in the frame of the embedding that should warn the visitor/user to disable tracking of that site, in order to see the embedded postings. and in order to calm down some desperate web admins who do not know what the heck is happening ??
Sorry, I am at fault! Forget it all!
I discovered that I did not login to facebook, in that “oEmbed” section of your pugin!
I confounded it with the instagram login on the first settings page!
caveat for anybody that happens to make the same stupid error. (I would post a screenshot to be clear, but I see no attachment button here…)- This reply was modified 3 years, 11 months ago by horiamar.
I just would like to mention that I installed the plugin exactly because it says, on the first line of its presentation text: “Now automatically powers your Instagram oEmbeds”.

Hi Mike,
thanks for your answer!
However:
your document, to which you pointed above, as a solution to my problem, is only telling me to install this plugin here (that we are talking about), in order to be able to oEmbed posts from instagram.Which is not the case, otherwise I would not have written you here.
I wrote you because inspite of installing and doing everything correctly, I am still not able to show instagram oEmbeds on my website.
So, could you be so kind and tell me what the problem could be?
I can show FEEDS in my wp-website, but
I cannot show single instagram posts in my wp-website.
The single posts appear as an empty frame, with only some text inside, no image (the same way they appear if I do not use your plugin).
If I only copy-paste the link to an instagram post, then the WP shows really only that link and nothing else – no oEmbed whatsoever. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance! In my case, even posting the whole instagram embed code does not help (it shows an empty box with only text and no image). I separately posted a topic about this in the forum.

In reply to: [CollabPress] how do i display the calendar and the uploaded filesdisplaying the calendar on the frontend is not yet possible, as far as I read it here in other comments…
I would also like to have a hack for this – to be able to display everything collabpress can do, in the frontend. This is because if one is using it with buddypress, it is better for the user experience to be able to see all the project information in the frontend.Forum: Plugins
