Problem solved. External images were blocked by Firefox 43.0.4 or by one of its extensions. (Images were not blocked by Firefox 42)

The “No photos” problem was caused by Flickr (bad panda).
But the widget with user= still does not work.

After 72 hours of retries most domains that automatically upgraded to 4.1.3 (and 4.1.4) now show 4.2.1 (initially the US version, after appr. 24 hours also the local language version) ready for manual install from wp-admin. So it probably was a caching problem (at 2 different hosters, both using Installatron).

I have the same problem. However, updating to 4.2 (from 4.1.3) or 4.2.1 (from 4.1.3 or 4.1.4) is impossible.
What is version 4.1.4 (or 4.1.3)? How could it be automatically installed (by Installatron) in stead of 4.2. or 4.2.1?
And how to branch back from 4.1.x to 4.2 if updating from wp-admin does not work and Installatron only finds 4.1.4 as the latest version?

I have seen similar meta data several times. Logging out and reloading usually helps.

The problem disappeared after a round of plugin updates and wp updates and now came back.
Deactivating other plugins did not help.
Deactivating CMS Tree Page View made the dashboard reappear.
Active CMS Tree Page View showed no Tree, only the word “Pages”, followed by an internal server error.

Probably also in Page.php.

Which file contains the Read More text? Is it single.php? Or page.php? Or is it in the Style.css?

– how to make items conditional (no comments on pages, no comments on old items etc)

Since a few weeks the CMS Tree does not show new pages.
Possibly these pages are in the tree below pages that have been rearranged. The rearranged pages are not shown by CMS Tree.
De-/reactivating CMS Tree does not help.
Any news on compatibility with WP 3.8.1, 3.8.2 and other plugins that may cause this?

Same problem.
Posts (and pages) not showing in Dashboard overview (WP 3.8.1).
Last page view that did appear had redundant/recursive structure (page hierarchy was repeated for pages under Home).
