    Hi Boone,

    We’ve cross-checked the logs.

    But there’s no fatal error. In addition to this, I’ve crosschecked the syntax which is fine too.

    Interestingly, We were using 3.8.2 version of this this plugin and 92 emails were being sent. After updating it to 4.0.0, only one email is being sent. Rest of the queue is not being sent.

    Please suggest. We can pay you to solve this problem as my boss really need to solve this problem.

    Hi Boone,

    I hope you’re doing great!

    Thanks you so much for the suggesting the starting steps to debug.

    We’ve applied the changes. Now, daily digest was sent to only one person.

    In the log, we’ve got ‘[15-Nov-2020 05:01:26] Beginning digest batch of type dig for timestamp 2020-11-15 05:01:25.’

    But there’s no finished information. Upon checking the queue ‘https://ourdomain.org//?sum=1’, There are items from the same date. So I can say it’s not processed.

    I’ve update the plugin ‘BuddyPress Group Email Subscription’ to 4.0.0

    Version of BuddyPress is ‘5.2.0’.

    Please suggest what should we do further.

    Thank you so much for the reply!

    It’s not always 92.
    For example :
    12th Nov, 90 emails were sent
    11 Nov, 89 emails were sent
    10th Nov, 92 emails were sent
    8th Nov, 96 emails were sent

    are they always the oldest members (those with the lowest IDs
    Oldest are getting the emails

    Please suggest further

    Thank you so much for the response.

    Are you able to check the outgoing SMTP logs/outbox to confirm that only 92 emails are sent out? =>
    We’re using one of our G Suite account for SMTP. We saw sent emails in the same email account. And from the reports even it is showing 92 emails only.

    Is there a way by which we can send the emails of daily digest in BCC rather than individual emails??

    Thank you so much for this plugin!

    We’re facing same kind of problem.

    There are 143 subscribers with our one group and all are using Daily digest for the group.

    When the daily digest send the email, only 92 users receive it. I’ve checked our email that we’re using with SMTP.

    As in the previous comments, I did this step to check the logs –
    in config.php define( ‘BPGES_DEBUG’, true );

    Here’s the log for last digest:

    [22-Oct-2020 05:00:56] Beginning digest batch of type sum for timestamp 2020-10-22 05:00:55.
    [22-Oct-2020 05:00:56] Finished digest run of type sum for timestamp 2020-10-22 05:00:55. Digests were sent to a total of 0 users.
    [22-Oct-2020 05:00:57] Beginning digest batch of type dig for timestamp 2020-10-22 05:00:56.
    [22-Oct-2020 05:03:09] Finished digest run of type dig for timestamp 2020-10-22 05:00:56. Digests were sent to a total of 143 users.

    According to this, there’s no error and email is sent to 143 users but I’ve crosschecked with the users even, they haven’t received the daily digest.

    Please help!
