I think I found another issue or this is part of it?? The site that is linked to my profile when I comment on thebloggess.com takes me to this link: https://hotmessmemoirdotcom.wordpress.com/ which hasn’t been updated since 2017. How can I get this link updated? I checked and my self-hosted site is connected with wordpress.com via JetPack so IDK what the issue is. Please help me!

Joy, thank you for your response. Would it hinder my SEO if I were to copy and paste each post I make on hotmessmemoir.com to hotmessmemoir.com.wordpress.com? And if I delete the old site, wouldnt that hinder the small group I get from reader?

Hello, I’m having a similar issue where I can’t reactivate woocommerce. That being said, how do I upload a plugin into the /wp-content/plugin folder? I’ve never done that before.

So I deactivated all plugins and attempted woocommerce and it didn’t work. I’m number #28 in line on go daddy to ask them about this but I did come across another forum that might explain my issue. See, I deactivated Woocommerce a month or 2 ago. The forum message is copied/pasted from another person having the same issue but with another plugin.Could this be the issue:
The problem was that the plugin couldn’t be deactivated then activated again. This was because the table creation failed if the underlying tables already existed (because the plugin was previously present then deactivated).

I appreciate the updated files you provided which bypass the table creation on activation. The activation now works, and the plugin is also working well again.

This does not have to do with any social media profiles, just the following of my blog. I have a reader (and now I think there is a second one experiencing this issue too) where she selects to follow me then the next day she goes to read my blog and it doesn’t show she is following me. I am self hosted so perhaps this is an issue with Jetpack b/c I believe that is who supplies my follow button?? I’m really confused and would love your help! Thank you!

Thank you all for your comments. Jason, I looked at how I have my url on Google Adsense and I have it set up as hotmessmemoir.com. Should I also add an additional line to say https://www.hotmessmemoir.com? Basically, do I need to add a line for every possible way someone may type my URL in? Thank you so much! I’m so scared my site will explode if I do something wrong!

I mean I want an icon under each post where readers can click it and put my post on their blog.
