I’m having the same problem – both with NextGen Gallery and Testimonials. They show as menu items in Adminimize, and I currently have them set to display for all users – but they are not there for anyone except Administrators

I have the same problem, and i DID use the template=caption.

I’ve got a rock, no description or alt text shows

Did you ever get an answer on this? I’m looking for something similar, a filter on wp_terms_checklist so that I can override the checked_ontop and make it false instead of true. I have custom taxonomies for posttype “categories” and need these to stay in their hierarchy on save.

The lack of support it’s pretty amazing. It’s like multisite is the unwanted cranky siter-in-law or something…

Funny, I just hit another problem testing on multisite. I originally thought I’d work from mu, in case there were any gotchas I wasn’t aware of – but I just setup a single install as my “crash test dummy” too. Way too many variables to troubleshoot otherwise.
