Having read through the 1* Ratings I’m very impressed how the Authors always responds politely and in good detail. In most cases where things have gone wrong for users, it appears that there were directions already provided to resolve issues without disasters. As a last resort, the developer would have always helped out.

I’m still convinced this is a viable and useful plugin, but as always, heeding the !BACKUP! instruction is essential in any global site modification.

@mjjojo you are doing some good work on this issue. Unfortunately, I am totally booked with work to spend any time on this at the moment. If I see any pattern developing that I can define, I’ll post back here.

Andrew, I note your rebuff, but rather than firing a curt response, maybe you could have followed my link in the post and this one here indicating that this maybe a continuing issue that needs developer attention.

You may also note from my profile that I’ve been a forum member here for eight years and not once manipulated for spacial attention or conducted my 228 posts inappropriately.

So looking through some previous reports on this issue. Maybe I should add some detail:

1- the scheduled posts were created some weeks ago
2- they were almost certainly saved as drafts while in progress
3- they were probably previewed as drafts while in progress
4- they were finally scheduled for a future date
5- The WP-settings time zone is correct

The user reports that they have used this process previously without problems with post order after scheduling. We have no CPO plugins that might conflict with this, nor any other plugins/code that would interfere with timings.

It seems unreasonable that the usual draft/ preview features should conflict with scheduled posts

Yeah, this must be a caching issue on a previous category name. I’ve double checked everything, slugs, permalinks… We’ll have to delay this until I can purge everything. Maybe it will correct then. Thanks for your feedback and help. I’ll close the issue

Thanks for your reply. So I have /%category%/%postname%/ as permalinks as you said.

and then a redirect as follows:

https://myecocourse.com <=> https://gloshub.co.uk/cataudience

The blog page loads correctly but the posts under it are showing the main domain URL and not masking with the redirect URL

Is this supposed to mask all urls under the base URL ‘myecocourse.com’ ?

You could see both site domains from the above info (only testing this for now)

I confer with azlivin008 – I would like to be able to link directly from conventional menus to ajaxed sections in a page. ie section-linking to an anchor ID via ajax. Please consider. Thank-you.

Thank-you for that extra update. I do have an official license for this theme, so I will post this information to the developers. Currently the theme supports WPML and polylang, but I tried both of these and they were far too over bloated. Thus I used your plugin and with success. They may be glad to promote your plugin as another more straight forward option maybe.

Brillant fix! Very impressed you found that one. It’s a complex theme and the fix to the functions.php solved the issue.
