To update — with the 2016 theme and no plugins besides Event Calendar Newsletter and Simple Calendar, I was able to run Event Calendar Newsletter and no error message; but the ‘Result’ and ‘Result HTML’ box stayed blank. No content. So I re-activated Simple Calendar – Google Calendar Pro Add-on, and the Error box came back.

Today I restored the site (yay for Updraft) and cleared my cache; ran your plugin and there was no error message but the spinner just kept spinning. Over an hour.

Does this mean there’s some incompatibility between Simple Calendar – Google Calendar Pro Add-on and Event Calendar Newsletter?

What’s the next step? Can you contact the developer of Simple Calendar – Google Calendar Pro Add-on– or should I — HB

Darn, I composed a whole reply and it’s gone! Probably something timed out, I was writing while I worked. But now it’s late & this might be brief. But yes, I installed the 2016 theme (I know that worked as the site looks entirely different now) and disabled all plugins besides Event Calendar Newsletter and Simple Calendar. Then cleared recent history, and there was no ‘error’ box but the ‘Result’ and ‘Result HTML’ box stayed blank. No content. So I re-activated Simple Calendar – Google Calendar Pro Add-on, and the Error box came back.

I really want this to work, what can I do? — HB

Also I should mention I updated plugins while I was in there. The site does have a large e-commerce plugin on it that none of my other sites use, and I see I updated that as well

    Tested up to: 3.6
    Stable tag: 3.8.12.1

Contents of my wp-content/plugins directory are:

    traffic-stats-widget/ 07/01/13
    wp-e-commerce/ 10/27/13
    index.php 6/26/13

Maybe that will give a clue as to what’s wrong.
