In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Attracta and Yoast SEOThanks for the feedback. I have closed my free account with Attracta, which I assume means they will not re-submit a sitemap and rewrite those lines in the robots.txt file. If I delete the lines, do I need to replace with something else, or is it ok to have an empty robots.txt file?
Thanks in advance for any help, folks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Attracta and Yoast SEOThey said they cannot help me. Think it would be safe to delete this from my robots.txt file? It’s the only thing in there:

#Begin Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Attracta and Yoast SEOAny tips on how to turn off Attracta? It came with my Hostgator hosting from what I can tell. I see something with Attracta in it in my robots.txt file when I clikc ‘edit files’ in Yoast settings, but it says ‘do not remove’.

In reply to: Help with "Remove the following redirect chain" recommendationthanks for the help!
the site is https://underscoopfire.com/
can the redirect be seen just by providing the url? (newbie, sorry!)
If not, the way I found that message I pasted above was by plugging my url in at gtmetrix.com.

In reply to: [Plugins: Jetpack] How to manage the Subscriptions?Jim Liston & MJEG –
Have either of you found a way to change the emails from containing the whole post to an excerpt, without going back into every post and adding the “more” tag?
Talking about WordPress subscribers only, not RSS feed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In reply to: Caption broken in new 3.4 postsOK, so the links I provided above are now bad examples because I used the manual fix from earlier in this thread to correct the images in that post. But PLEASE tell me there is a fix that will allow me to not have to go in to all 300+ posts on my site and fix the captions.

In reply to: Caption broken in new 3.4 postsFor those who say Thesis has issued a patch or fix for this – is it something I need to hunt down? I’m showing no Thesis updates available, yet I’m still having the problem. Captions do not appear in a frame around the image, they appear off to the right, in the same font as the the paragraph, and the image is not framed. For me, it also occurred after the WordPress update everyone has referenced, but it also went back and changed previously published posts, not just new ones going forward. Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
