I’ve deleted the code from 2 of the areas on my site and those ads have disappeared. I’ll go and do the rest.

FYI the Publisher ID being XXs was because I reversed what I did to put adsense on my site and all it did was take out the number and replace it with XXs, leaving me with public service ads.

Interestingly enough I looked as 50 or more pages for how to remove adsense and most of them turned out to be how to put adsense back on to a site after it had been removed! I know I’m not the only one with this problem as there were a lot of other bleats like mine but with no answers. Now this is here others hopefully will be able to find it.

Thank you but how do you disable the code/which bits of code need to be cut out? I tried cutting out some code that someone suggested and it took content off the page and turned it all grey. So obviously it matters which bits of code get cut out. I am totally non-techie when it comes to coding. FishDogFish – I don’t know what “cut out the divs” means.

If someone can tell be exactly which bits of code should come out I would appreciate it. From what I can gather I have about 6 or 7 places where I code must be taken out but seeing as it in a similar pattern I should be able to work out how to take the others out if someone tells me how to do just one.

I did and it still left all the code!

I went back to the video that showed how to insert the code and just reversed the action. It took off the paying adverts but left all the code which means I get public service ads instead!

Please, someone I really need help.
I have found lots of code under Appearance, Editor, like:
