I updated the plugin yesterday, and we’ve now received multiple new topics that are obviously made by spambots. Until yesterday, no spam had gotten through.

By looking at BBPress code, in my opinion the $result that check_for_post_evilness receives seems to be a string (content in textarea), not an array. It looks like this is not working with BBPress forms anymore.

… and BBPress version is 2.5.14.

@tapiohuuhaa – I’m sure the plugin author knows what making the plugin translatable means and how the plugin code should be modified to make translating possible.

This seems to happen with one of our clients as well. I took a look at the latest changes, and to me it looks like there’s a bug in the cron closing polls that have pollq_expire = 0.

When adding a new poll, selecting “Do NOT expire this poll” now saves the value of pollq_expiry = 0 instead of '':

Cron expiring polls still only tests for pollq_expiry != '':

By looking at the code, it seems like these polls are closed automatically during the next cron run after they’ve been created.
