Hi,
The error is the same, but the root cause is different. You have to use https://well.blogs.nytimes.com/feed/ to get your feed content. When I try to put feed://well.blogs.nytimes.com/feed/ into Firefox or Chrome browsers, they both indicate that it is not a valid URL format. Internet Explorer appears to accept the format, so it is a client specific implementation. The “feed” protocol indicator is a browser/client side implementation for ease of use which the browser changes to http in the background. Many servers do not recognize the ‘feed’ protocol. I may implement a replace function to change ‘feed’ to ‘http’ in the next revision of syndicate press.
I can add a link to the full article where the … is displayed. No big deal on this one.
Thanks for the feedback.

In reply to: [Syndicate Press] [Plugin: Syndicate Press] cusom taxomonyHi,
to insert the feeds in any post or page, all that you need to do is place the [sp# feedname] into the post or page.I am not sure what you mean by “directory section” verses “article section”. Perhaps you could post a link to your site.
Syndicate Press simply inserts the feed content wherever the [sp# feedname] bb code is placed in a post or page. Feed content is not stored in wordpress as a post or page, rather it is inserted dynamically when the page is rendered by wordpress.
Hi,
there was a bug in the initial 1.0 version where a ‘ ‘ (space) character around the ‘|’ would result in a bad URL lookup. That has since been fixed in version 1.0.1.The plugin has also been fixed on trunk for new downloads and on the 1.0.1 tag for folks to update their previously installed plugin.
If you don’t update to version 1.0.1+ the work-around is to simply format your feed as follows:
