2. css with padding (or margin): extra whitespace is created but the height/distance is still covered but now by the whitespace created. But it is no big deal, so lets leave it as it is.

Link to see the misbehavior: I don’t have a TEST environment (the website is a low budget labor-of-love thing for our cycling club). To be able to show you the error I would have to trigger the error in the LIVE environment and I don’t want to upset our members for the upcoming weekend. I can do it on monday/tuesday. Is that fine with you?

By the way: Would it be possible to make the direction marker functionality you recently added also available for maps that are shown via the file_url method?

Let my try to clarify/describe it better:

After changing a setting of Waymark:
Indeed the .gpx is still loaded/embedded into the HTML but the track is not shown anymore, it shows a default position on the map, some region in Canada. When I pan and zoom the map to the region where the track should be visible: it is not.

After deleting the Waymark plugin and installing it again without touching any of the Waymark settings:
The .gpx track is shown again on the map and all is working fine.

However when I change a Waymark setting again like the color of the track line: the tracks are no longer shown again.

To get it working again I have to delete and install the Waymark plugin (and not touch the settings).

The settings don’t seem to get corrupted themself as I can edit them as much as I want and changes are saved and changes are retrieved for editing, however, the map/track display stays broken.

PHP version = 8.0

I’ll get a debug-log later, but likely not before tomorrow.
