My apologies, I simply do not understand where to paste the code? I have copied the text from the category.php and archive.php files and changed the code, but I do not understand where/how I paste the code in the Inferno theme ie.the Inferno theme directory/folder, where exactly is this?
Under the theme files, I have files such as style.css, functions.php etc., but I don’t think I paste the code into these fields? Could you direct me to the correct area please?

I have not edited the themes before, so are you able to tell me how I create a category.php and an archive.php in the Inferno theme please? I have tried to research how to do this, but methods seem to use an ftp or a plugin and I’m not sure if there is a simpler way?

Thank you for the help. Yes it worked, but not only has the archive widget gone but also my two AVH extended category widgets that have all my posts. Is there a way that I can just not display the archive widget on th sidebar , but the others I can?

Thanks for the help. I just tried the above and still have the issue. I copied your code to the CSS style sheet editor is that right? Or should it go in editor in one of the themes or styles?

Thank you for getting back to me. I have just two widgets active, two AVH extended category widgets, I do not have an archive widget. When I go to the Housesitting tails page, I have the Housesitting tails widget which shows the two categories Australian tails and New South Wales.
But, when I then view a post, a archive widgets appears showing monthly post dates.
I just would like to see a post right across the page with no archive widget showing.
Also, is it possible to make the widget smaller, it takes up a lot of the page

I am not sure if you know if the Enigma version that you pay for makes all of this a lot easier while I am still learning? ie. I believe it allows you to change colours, just wondering if it facilitates a lot of other functions that may assist in the issues I’m having?

I should have mentioned that while we are traveling, we only have access to iPads and I tried earlier to export the image from my photos to somewhere that I could edit it, but I cannot find an option apart from cropping etc. Is this only possible on a PC? If so, we will be visiting a library!

Also, in Inferno, I would like to change all the orange colour to blue or another colour. I have worked out how to do this through the style editor, but do I need to change every item individually such as header, footer etc. Or is there a way I can change all orange to another colour? Also, how do I know which part of the blog relates to which word in the css editor Ie. I understand a little of the language, but say I wanted to change the large round dot icons on the blog to a different colour, how can I tell what to change in the editor?
