Hi bdbrown, thanks for this.
I’ve tried the code to align the topbar menu and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Similarly, I’ve tried to use the header ad widget area to include links (and do away with the topbar altogether), but the widgets I add simply don’t show up on screen.
I really just want an area with links (or text) to balance out the logo to the left. And the logo itself should be against a white header background.

Ha, when I read your reply and how simple/basic it was compared to some of the other solutions suggested and attempted, I was v sceptical.
What do you know – it only works, perfectly!

Hi juanyo, thanks for taking the time to make a suggestion.
I tried this but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried to hide the date via the post-id route, but again it just has no affect.
Happy to use plugins if necessary, but they all seem to remove the date entirely from your site rather than just from individual posts. Strange.
