    Apparently www.ads-software.com has had a similar problem. I don’t know if it is the same problem but I have suspected there to be some bug in a .css file. If I use the original style for my blog the problem dissapears but if I for instance use one of the css styles from the alexking.org site (I am using a hacked version of the Aubergine Machine) Mozilla 1.6 and Firefox starts lagging.

    Hmm.. But that’s so strange. Ok, I know now that it’s the semi-transparent PNG that slows down everything. But why tha hell only on my computer running Mozilla 1.6 and FF 0.8 and not when I’m using IE in Windows. Hmmm. I guess I could do a test with FF in Windows ;).
    And oh… For the “five recent postings” question, I found this great hack!

    xircom: No I’m sure it’s Mozilla. When using IE on the same computer and on my girlfriends this doesn’t happen.
