They said they didn’t put them there. I have deleted them, though, and subsequent scans have been clean.
Just found this post from November that suggests these are all false positives.
If they are leftover files, I should be able to delete them, right?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] You’re using WordPress in a language we don’t support yet.@marcanor: That appears to have corrected the problem.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Title length not evaluatedI uninstalled Yoast and reinstalled Yoast and no change.
I then uninstalled Yoast, deactivated all other plugins and reinstalled Yoast. I reactivated plugins one by one, and there was no conflict, and the problem has somehow resolved itself.
Unfortunately, I have live traffic turned off. I have not blocked any IP addresses (at least none are listed as blocked. _wfbBlocks appears to be ok.
But I have not had this problem again after posting (of course).

You’re dealing with someone who knows next to nothing on building or setting up a website. The directory structure was set up by RapidWeaver, which I used to create the site. I use WP for my blog, and all of its files are kept in the wordpress directory of my domain.
As far as the index page for the blog, I cannot recall moving it. I use a plugin that applies a RapidWeaver theme to WP; I don’t know if that would affect it or not. Using cyberduck, I can see an index.php file in the wordpress directory.
Both of the sitemap files are set to 666.

In reply to: [Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] What do these errors mean?My site is https://www.timothyjevanslaw.com. The WP blog is located at https://www.timothyjevanslaw.com/blog/blog.
The sitemap.xml is at https://www.timothyjevanslaw.com/wordpress/sitemap.xml. The .gz is in the same directory and is sitemap.xml.gz.
