I tried it and I still don’t see it working…

Does it work like this in buddypress?

If user1 likes authors’ article…. author gets notification saying for example:

User1 liked your article [name]

I can’t see anything like that when liking ??

Or, am I missing something?

basically, it would be awesome if those likes can be shown in the same way as favourites in user’s profile ??

Also, it would be cool if authors of comments and posts get notifications (in buddypress) when someone likes their comment or post.

Well, I’m not sure if you ever used the buddypress… it does have notifications as for example on facebook. … so, from practical point of view… when for example user Jerry click recommended button on blog post (and you are logged in on site) the author receive notification “Jerry recommended your blog/article: NAME”
Also, it would show the activity in Jerry’s activity feed: “Jerry recommends your blog/article: NAME”
+++ super awesome would be extra tab in buddypress profile showing those recommended posts ??

I have actually manage to fix it by adding few lines to your bp-pms-for-followers.php
Did you changed anything else? Or add more features? If yes, I might try it as soon as I have fit more time ??
