In reply to: [Search & Filter] Feature Request: Custom FieldsYou are exactly right. The Search & Filter and Relevanssi combo is pretty powerful and exactly what I needed – thank you!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Job Alerts w/ MultisiteGood point, I didn’t even think about that. Just switched it over to a per site basis so I’ll see how the email looks today. Thanks for the help.

In reply to: [Search & Filter] Feature Request: Custom FieldsI have a custom post type called “job_listing” it has a title and normal page content, but it also has some additional custom fields associated with it such as “company name” and “location”. It seems like WP’s default search only compares keywords against the page title & content – I would like to be able to also search some custom fields like my company name and location fields from the search box of Search & Filter – does that make sense?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Feature Request: Job Alerts by CompanyIn a perfect world, it would me a multi select like the job type / category selectors that would let me choose a list of companies that I would like to use within my search criteria. That list would be generated from the _company_name custom field already being used within Job Manager.
However, I just realized that the “keywords” field does search against custom fields (I was under the impression it just searched the page title/content) so I guess users could just type in the name of the company there, but it’s not quite as nice as having a predefined list that multiple options can be chosen from.

In reply to: [Search & Filter] Clean URLS bugYup, that did the trick – thank you!
Oh and just a note – in your documentation, your code examples still contain “taxonomies” instead of “fields”: [searchandfilter taxonomies=”search,category,post_tag,post_format”]
The improvements are looking great, thank you!
Just wanted to +1 the request for hierarchical structure within the drop down box for taxonomy.
Great plugin, thanks!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] PaginationLooks like the issue is still present in the default 2014 WP theme: https://screencast.com/t/AjcQKNBxPof – I have not made any direct edits to the plugin, I have everything setup in a child theme, so that should be an untouched version running on the default theme. Only other plugins I have installed are: https://screencast.com/t/gurJxHVA
Thanks for the suggestion in regards to the non-ajax version.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Add company name to permalink URLGot it – wasn’t sure if there was another way to automate it, was trying to have to eliminate entering data into one more field, but not a big deal. Thanks again for all the help. Once again, great plugin.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Add company name to permalink URLJust read the release notes for 1.5.1 – I guess I should specify that I’m adding jobs from the admin dashboard and not the frontend job form – is the new url slug only available through that form?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Add company name to permalink URLThanks for the quick reply. That’s weird, I have version 1.5.1 but it still just puts the job title in the url, no company name: https://myjobsite.com/job/computer-guy/
Do I need to activate something in order to get the company name in there too, because the way you described it working would be a great solution.
Thanks.
