In reply to: [POEditor] Does this still work?Same here…
We just started using poeditor.com and are pretty excited! Now we’re looking at how to better integrate our systems and team members for a smooth translation workflow.
Would love to hear if you have any updates planned and are commited to supporting the plugin long-term (before we invest in it). We’re willing and able to pay, if that helps…
Thanks,
ValentinSure, happy to help ??
I dug a little deeper and can confirm that this happens in all browsers (Chromium, Firefox, Google Chrome) on Ubuntu AND also on Android (Chrome, Firefox) — it’s a little less noticeable there, but still visible.
Any bold text in wp-admin has more font weight (I’d guess 100 to 200 more) with the Smush plugin enabled, which makes the text a bit blurry.
Here are some screenshots on Android: https://www.dropbox.com/s/scjysdffqh56hur/smush-screenshots.zip
It might even be visible on Win/Mac, probably much less obvious because the font rendering doesn’t go to shit when the text gets little bit bolder.
I seem to recall seeing the same effect a year or two ago with a different plugin, but I didn’t care at the time (it was a crappy plugin anyway and went out the window right away) and don’t remember any details.
Sure, no problem. I’ve just tried the same on a completely different server with WP 4.8, a zillion plugins and Storefront theme: same behavior.
Looks like this is an edge case with some clients (I’m using Chromium on Ubuntu), that is triggered by something in the admin styles you’re enqueueing.
This is what happens after plugin activation:
1. admin screens render in a different font
2. bold text looks blurry.
Here’s a screenshot.I’ve looked at the styles, and with your plugin on, “Rendered Fonts” changes
fromUbuntu — Local file (11 glyphs)
(my system font)
toRoboto Medium — Network resource (9 glyphs)
(a web font).
And then a 600 font weight on the Roboto Medium probably doesn’t render very well (for me).Same rendering issue in Firefox here btw. Could be that it only affects Ubuntu / Linux users, not sure.
It’s no big deal really, I just thought I’d mention this (and it piqued my curiosity ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Paypal Custom Payment Page Style not workingGot word back from WooCommerce support and thought I’d share this here:
It looks like PayPal may not be supporting the page style options anymore with their new interface. More information on this here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/12523
We added a new image url option, which is a part of the 3.0.0 update: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/CHANGELOG.txt#L77
You could manually apply this fix if you aren’t ready to update to 3.0 yet but want this resolved: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/12546/commits/edfc54dff5430d32b8af0c6eb100b459c67c6735

In reply to: [SendGrid] Feedback on the Beta Multisite setupChiming in: our setup is multisite for different language versions of an online store and we want to sent transactional email via SendGrid.
We’d be happy to enter one set of API credentials in the network admin, to be used on all sites.
And, for this plugin to be usable, we’d need to be able to set different from names and email addresses per site. This could happen in the network admin or the site admin areas. Network admin would probably be more convenient, but both would work for us.
FWIW, the Mailjet plugin is network activated and then has a settings page on each site (and no settings on the network admin). I don’t really mind entering the API keys there a few times, since we have max 5-7 sites per network, and I also need to test the setup on each site anyway.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Paypal Custom Payment Page Style not workingSame issue here, the page style is sent in the request parameter
page_style=MyPageStyle
and the page is set up in the PayPal account, but it doesn’t take effect and the buyer is shown the account’s default page (with the wrong business logo on it).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Klaviyo for WooCommerce] Klaviyo WooCommerce JS error breaks checkoutWe ran into the exact same issue here. Client is unwilling to update all his product descriptions and would rather turn off Klaviyo entirely than lose sales to errors in checkout.
Could you fix the issue?
To be fair, having some elements with attributes in a product desc does make sense in many cases (think p class=”callout”).

In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] MultisiteFWIW, I’ve installed and configured version 1.2.0 on several multisite installs and the plugin seems to work without problems.
Network activation works, the only downside is that you have to adjust the plugin settings for each site separately.
On Site 1, all notifications are enabled right off the bat, while on all subsequent sites, they are disabled by default. If you have a lot of users, you’ll want to perform the plugin activation and configuration when there is little traffic, to minimize impact on users who want to reset their password during those minutes.
That being said, it would be very convenient if one could manage the settings for the entire network from the network admin.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Conversion Tracking] Woocommerce subscription problemSame issue here, any update on this? Thanks!
Would love to see compatibility with subscriptions as well!
Any plans to make this happen?
Thanks!
