thank you for your help. I solved the issue partly by setting a default tax row for India using the * in the state field. Now the top prices on the page are shown without taxes and lower prices are shown with taxes. How can this be corrected?
The top price is shown without taxes only when the woocommerce is using the default tax rate for India using the * in the state field. After state is selected in the the cart, the prices on the product page are shown correctly.
