Hi, I am having the same issue for my website – I have entered in the FB APP ID, the APP SECRET code etc etc. I try to import.

As an example I am trying to import event from a page PokerStarsLIVEMacau

when I try to import events with event ID I get this error…
We are not able to access Facebook event: 1797318850570225. Possible reasons: – App Credentials are wrong – Facebook event is not public or some restrictions are there like age,country etc.
– the event is definitely public as it says on the FB event page – so there must be something else not working

when I schedule import events from a page I get this error…
Unsupported get request. Object with ID ‘PokerStarsLIVEMacau’ does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api

Using thesis – I can not figure out the CSS code needed to customize the RPS Title font to use my typekit fonts.

One more issue that I can not seem to resolve,

What CSS do I nee to center the entire Related Post Slider. Also how can I adjust the total width of the slider?

I would like to center the slider, or make it fit width wise within the content area, but I can not figure out what CSS command to use in Thesis.

Hi,

Just to let everyone know I resolved the issue.

NOTE: If you are using Thesis, the slider will only be displayed for a post if you have entered something into the ‘Custom Title Tag’ section and the ‘Meta Description’ section. If these fields are left blank, then the related post slider will not appear on those posts.

Hi there,

I inserted the code you list for the Footer. It works great on Chrome and Firefox, however does not diplay properly on Internet Explorer 8. CSS is also not functioning in IE.

I am using Thesis 1.8.2 and the latest WordPress release

Am I missing something for IE to read it correctly?

Thanks for you message. I have figured out that if I uncheck the Automatically display related posts, then the doubling up of Yarpp posts gets removed.

I have left the Automatically display related posts checked for now, to show that certain posts DO have related posts (showing up in Yarpp) but do not display the RPS slider.

FOr example from posts that are all labelled in the same category..

All these posts are build the same way, and associated with the same categories, so I am stumped as to why the slider shows on some and not other.

First off, thanks for a great plugin

That said, it still does not seem to be working quite right for me.

I am trying to figure out why the plugin would be showing for some posts and not for others within the same assigned categories. – Yarpp is showing outputs, however no slider?

Here is an example:

I have a website that lists hotels and restaurants in Costa Rica. In one category I lists 10+ restaurants for a region in San Jose (all the restaurants are assigned to the same category, however some restaurant posts show the slider and others do not?

now look at two of the posts from the category listing and you will see the slider working fine (note: Yarpp output is also showing)

As you can see, I have left the Yarpp automatic output turned on (creating the duplicate related posts as per the comments above) to show that there are actually related posts for these examples.

Any thoughts why the plugin is showing on some posts and not others?

Also, do I need to have code pasted into my thesis Custom-Functions file? if so – can you help me with what I need? I am very new at all this so am not very technical..

Thanks for pointing that out. It’s very strange though, as you have pointed out the slider is working on that page, but not on other posts?

For example

You can see that Yarpp is pulling in related posts below, however the related posts slider is not showing.

On another note, the page you pointed out seems to be doubling up on my ‘realted posts’ – adding additional Yarpp posts below the slider? any thoughts on what I have done wrong?

I have tried to get the Relate Posts SLider working on my site. I have Yarpp running, have downloaded the Related Posts Slider, but nothing happens.
